What landscape lighting is

From $3,500 designed and installed

Landscape lighting is a designed, low-voltage system that lights your property from the ground up: warm uplighting that washes the facade and the trees, soft path lights along the walkway and steps, and accent lighting tucked into the beds and at the entries. The fixtures sit low and out of sight, so all you see at night is the effect, not the hardware.

It does three jobs at once. It makes the home look stunning after dark, the kind of curb appeal that turns heads from the street and lifts the whole property. It makes the property safer, lighting the paths, steps, and entries so no one is feeling for the next stair in the dark. And it adds real security, because a lit home reads as occupied and cared for, with no dark corners or shadowed entries for anyone to hide in.

From $3,500, designed for warmth, safety, and curb appeal. Before you decide, you get a mockup of your own home lit, so you see exactly how the property will look after dark.

Why it's worth it

The best version of your home shows up at night.

Curb appeal that turns heads

Warm light grazing the brick, glowing up through the trees, depth where there was a flat dark wall. Your home looks its most impressive exactly when the street is looking, and you pull into it every single evening.

Sure footing to your door

No one feels for the next stair or crosses a black stretch of driveway again. Guests, kids, and grandparents go from the car to the door on lit, even ground, all year long.

A home that's clearly cared for

A dark, shadowed house invites a second look. A lit one doesn't. Light across the facade and through the yard erases the hiding spots and tells anyone passing the place is lived in and watched over.

The real product

Solid-brass fixtures, built to last

This is the real fixture we put in the ground: a solid-brass uplight, the same hardware on every Bright Co. landscape job. Brass and bronze hold up where the cheap plastic uplights from the big-box store crack, fade, and fog over within a season or two. Ours are built to last on the order of ten to twenty years, and they only look better as the finish ages into a warm patina.

It is the difference between a system that still looks great a decade from now and one you are replacing every couple of years. We spend a little more on the fixture up front so you spend far less on it over time.

How we design and finish it

Designed on site, aimed after dark.

Landscape lighting is designed where it lives. We walk your property in the evening to see the trees, the facade, and the walkways in the dark, then aim and plan each fixture. Every quote comes with a mockup of your property lit, so you see the result before you decide.

1

Evening design walk

We plan the system on your property after dark, where we can see how the trees, facade, and paths actually read at night.

2

Clean install

Solid-brass fixtures set low and hidden, with low-voltage wiring buried and tidy. You see the light, not the hardware.

3

Night-time aiming pass

We finish every install after dark, aiming each fixture by eye so the light lands exactly where we intended, with no glare and no hot spots.

4

Service plans available

Ongoing maintenance and service plans keep the system dialed in. These are systems pros service for years, and we are happy to be the ones who do.
